Compac Theatre in Madrid’s Gran Vía street, known as the Spanish Broadway, was the stage where adidas presented the new kit “La Roja” will wear in Brazil 2014 World Cup to defend the trophy won in South Africa 2010. More than 60 media were accredited for the occasion.
KATAPULT SPORTS and ACTYVOS were the agencies selected to stage the presentation event. By this collaboration both organizations planned and produced the show. The full squad selected by coach Vicente del Bosque for the friendly matches against Guinea and South Africa attended the event. The players appeared on stage at the end of the show as the curtain unveiled with captain Iker Casillas at the forefront.
The reigning champion will defend its crown wearing an innovative adidas kit that retains the traditional red colour but is accentuated by gold trims to remark the success in 2010. The main novelty is the kit is completely red, disappearing the blue shorts, turning “La Roja” in more red than ever.
